Having successfully settled our daughter into her new life at University I now find our close season is passing far too quickly. We’re already very busy preparing for next year. Our booking lines will open on Thursday 11th January and we’ll open the site for guests on Thursday 26th April. My apologies to those that would like to come and stay at Easter but it falls too early for me to feel comfortable with opening when there is a definite strong chance of wet ground and bad conditions that could lead to the site being ruined before we even get going. I’d rather delay opening to ensure we open in perfect condition.

Our new tariff for 2018 is available to view via our Staying With Us page. I’m afraid that we have had to pass on a small increase this year following substantial increases in our business rates and utilities. We’ve done our best to keep these increases as small as possible.

Having considered lots of things this year, there will be no immediate changes to the site this year. We do believe in keeping things simple so the old saying off "if it’s not broke don’t fix it” comes to mind. Our reviews on Trip Adviser, Pitchup.com and UK Campsite suggest we’ve not broken anything yet.

We hope to continue living up to those reviews, here’s looking forward to another season of Happy Camping in 2018

When we arrived we had a warm, friendly check in even though we were a bit early. We stayed in the lead up to the end of May Bank Holiday and although it was quiet when we arrived they were fully booked for half term the following week. Pitches are very generous with plenty of space between neighbours.

The site is level and well kept. The grassy areas were very lush making it much easier to pitch. Toilets and showers very clean with plenty of hot water. We were able to put our freezer packs in the freezer in the games room. Wi-Fi available if you need it. It's obvious to see why so many of the reviews are excellent, we agreed. Would definitely recommend this site and would visit again. Bexhill has free parking away from the town centre so inevitably it gets very busy. Lidl just down the road and a small business park further on with Tesco, DIY stores etc about a 5 min drive.
