Welcome to 2012! It’s scary how quickly Christmas disappears and you’re
all straight back into the swing of things. It already looks like being
a busy year, with lots to look forward to, and of course there’s the extra
celebrations with the Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics!
Although we didn’t start taking any bookings until the 5th of January,
the Diamond Jubilee weekend has already sold out. We haven’t worked out
yet what we’ll be doing to mark the event but I’m sure Ulenah and Kay
will come up with some weird ideas.
We’re not planning any major changes to the site this year as everyone
seems happy with the way things are. A few minor improvements to the games
hall and a bit of a freshen up where required.
It’s quite an early start this year with Easter being early. Hopefully
the weather will be kind to us all and give us some fine weather to get
the season started.
Ricky and Kay are busy refining the menus for the bistro, you’ll notice
I didn’t say café, he doesn’t like me calling it that anymore after all
the reviews! They’re really looking forward to getting going again, and
I dare say they’ll be some themed specials for the major events this year.
