"Had one night here, wow, what a great site. The staff were friendly and helpful, even offering tea or coffee on arrival. Pitches are big and the toilet / shower blocks spotless and well thought out, liking the funky recycled plastic bottle doors and worktops). Lots of washing up sinks all under cover.

Thought being given a green bucket to put your recycling in a great idea. Didn't try the cafe but heard good comments, the games room is good for kids on the wet days. I would recommend this site to anyone."

What a fantastic site! we had a great few days at Chestnut Meadows.

Pitches.We have a very big tent and we had no problem pitching it, in fact we could have got a gazebo on to if we had wanted.The pitches were flat.

The staff were great. They were friendly and helpful.

Toilets and showers. Spacious,clean and warm (I'm very fussy when it comes to the toilets and showers, I couldn't fault these).

Play areas. These were safe and even kept my 11 and 13yr olds amused. The play barn was great,fantastic if it rained table tennis, pool, connect 4, table football. There was plenty of space in the middle of the site to play ball games, frizbee etc

This being our second visit to Chestnut Meadow, friends joined us this time and they were not disappointed with our recommendation.

Our first time to have a fully serviced pitch, great and would recommend.

This visit we ate in the cafe/bistro for an evening meal and next day for breakfast, very good (better than many restaurants) and reasonable prices.

The cakes looked fantastic. Next visit I will sneak in to try some.

All facilities were very good, the owners and staff even arranged good weather.
