2018 has got off to a flying start and bookings have been incredibly busy. So much so that we now have no more weekend pitches available at the moment for the main summer school holidays. The weekend allocation has sold out. We do however hold a few pitches back for those of you that may wish to stay for longer stays over these periods. If you were considering this please just give us a call to check availability as these pitches are not available to book on-line. The computer may say no, but we may be able to say yes!

At the moment, the new road which will join up the A269 from just south of our entrance to the Bexhill to Hastings Link Road is still under construction. Completion is apparently scheduled for the summer but until it opens if you are coming to visit us by coming along the A259 from Eastbourne please note the directions given on the How to Find Us Page. When this road is completed it will provide good access to more footpaths and cycle routes to enjoy which can take you all the way into Hastings. In the meantime though, it may cause the odd delay as over the coming weeks they will no doubt have to install traffic controls while they join the 2 roads together.

The Bank Holidays in May have come and gone, and for once both weekends had some fantastic weather. We were lucky enough to mainly avoid all the thunderstorms at Whitsun, we just had a fantastic lightening display all around us on the Saturday night and then just a 10 minute downpour before it all cleared away. There were lots of very sunburnt campers by the end of the weekend. Hopefully this is a good sign for the summer ahead, here’s keeping my fingers crossed.

Happy Camping

This is a campsite that we come back to time after time. You are always given a smile at Reception on arrival. Facilities are always clean and plenty of showers and toilets. Location is great for 5 min drive into Bexhill where the beach is lovely. Eastbourne is 30 mins away.

Pitches are generous and campsite has all you need to a family holiday and will continue to return. My only frustration is that there is a track that runs all the way round the inside of the site and this seems to be perfect to children to ride and scoot round and round and round, this can go on until 9pm most nights and can be quite annoying especially if they are being noisy too. But I understand that we went in the school hols so will be lot of children on Site.
