Where To Find Us

We're located on the outskirts of Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex - just off the A269 Bexhill to Ninfield Road. The real beauty of this place are the stunning views across the countryside. You'll be spoilt for choice on bird and butterfly spotting with many regular visits from the local bunny population for good measure.

Tent fans will love our site in the heart of 1066 country as it's predominantly flat so no rolling downhill in the night - unless that's your thing of course. Caravans are a whole heap easier to manoeuvre too so everyone's a winner!

There's loads to do nearby too, with miles of beautiful Sussex coast just down the road at Eastbourne and Hastings if you fancy a paddle Or head inland to the historic market town of Battle with it's ancient Abbey, take the kids to Drusillas Family Fun Park and Zoo or indulge your inner Knight in Shining Armour (or Princess, of course!) at Herstmonceux or Bodiam Castles.

We're quite easy to find. We're directly off the A269 in between Ninfield and Bexhill on Sea, just within the Bexhill boundary. Our entrance is signposted by the brown tourist information signs. We're in between Thorne Crescent and St Mary's Lane directly opposite the 2nd brown sign. Our post code is TN39 5JG. If following a Sat Nav please ignore it once you're on the A269, just look out for our brown tourist information signs.

NB – The local roads are currently changing with the construction of the new "Country Avenue” that will link the A269 with the new Bexhill to Hastings Link Road. This road will open sometime in the Spring/Summer so we'll keep you informed when the changes happen. The new junction will only be 100 yards down from our entrance and will make journeys much simpler.

In the meantime, if you are coming to visit us by coming along the A259 to Bexhill from Eastbourne, when you reach the main traffic lights at Bexhill you usually turn left, signposted A269. Still take this turn, now signposted London, Battle, but now you have to then turn right at a second set of lights about 100 yards further on. If you don’t turn right here the link road will take you all the way to Hastings. There is currently no signage except for "Hospital No A&E”. This road is now the A269 just follow this until you see our Brown signs saying Chestnut Meadow. First sign gives you a 100 yard warning, second sign points to a lane between 2 houses on your left, just turn down here and you’ll find us at the bottom.

If approaching from the south, our entrance will be on your left. If you are towing a caravan or are a long vehicle please allow yourselves room for the turn in.

This is a campsite that we come back to time after time. You are always given a smile at Reception on arrival. Facilities are always clean and plenty of showers and toilets. Location is great for 5 min drive into Bexhill where the beach is lovely. Eastbourne is 30 mins away.

Pitches are generous and campsite has all you need to a family holiday and will continue to return. My only frustration is that there is a track that runs all the way round the inside of the site and this seems to be perfect to children to ride and scoot round and round and round, this can go on until 9pm most nights and can be quite annoying especially if they are being noisy too. But I understand that we went in the school hols so will be lot of children on Site.
